This tool enables users to design an isolated reinforced concrete footing that supports a single column, which can be positioned eccentrically. It includes section design and conducts checks for overturning, sliding, uplift, and soil bearing at the four corners of the footing. All calculations are performed in accordance with AS 3600-2018.

This tool analyzes the ultimate bearing capacity of a shallow foundation using Terzaghi's approach, based on the following assumptions: (1) shallow foundation, (2) no sliding between the foundation and the soil, (3) homogeneous, semi-infinite ground, and (4) vertical load is applied to the centroid of the foundation.

Calculate the minimum required thickness of your base plate and check the allowable bearing strength of the concrete footing.
