Currently, due to capacity limits, we're only accepting applicants from Australia, who have the ability to work full-time for 3 months or more.
To apply for an internship at CalcTree, we want you to build a calculation on CalcTree and share it with us! This is to help us understand your technical skills and aptitude better.
Here's how it works
1. Sign up to CalcTree
2. Decide on a calculation template you'd like to build
Tips on deciding what to build
- You can take inspiration from our template library, your university course and assignments, or even ChatGPT! It's best to avoid building anything that already exists in the CalcTree library.
3. Build your calculation template on CalcTree
Tips on building a great template
- Upload an existing spreadsheet or Python script to power your template. It can be something you've downloaded from the web or built/used before. There is no need to build something from scratch!
- Include diagrams and/or images to communicate key concepts better.
- Include introductory and explanatory text, and equations in your template to really hammer home any key concepts that will help with using your tool.
Be creative! There are no wrong answers, we're keen to see what's unique about you. And most importantly, have fun!
Bonus points for completing our feedback survey after completing this task.
Submit your template
Once you're finished and happy with your calculation, share it with us. Here's how:
1. Click the 'Share' button on the top right of your calculation template
2. Turn on 'Share to web'

3. Paste the link in an email to careers@calctree.com, along with your resume.
Not many make it to this point, so if you do, it's already a sign that you might just be the person we're looking for!
